I am 20 yrs old. I started having my periods at the age of 12. It was irregular at the beginning. the maximum delay was a month. But later on the delay time was even more. So I consulted a gynecologist, she prescribed me OVRAL. I took it for 3 months but still my periods were not regular. In the meanwhile I tried all other methods like yoga, acupressure and ayurvedic even. Then later I consulted another gynecologist she prescribed me to take DIANE-35 for 9 months i.e. (9 cycles). But after I completed the 9 cycles, 10th month I had my periods without any medicine, but now again this I dint had my periods. All my thyroid and hormonal tests are normal. So please help me.

I am unsure of the medications or what they are for, but have you gone on the pill for a while? it usually puts your cycle in order. As for being irregular, have you had an ultra sound to see if you have fibroids? Fibroids are a non-malignat growth (non cancerous) that will cause you to not have or have irregular periods because the growth will take all the blood that should be coming out during your periods. The ultra sound will also show if you have a cyst on your overies. This too will cause irregular periods. Either way you should get checked for fibroids by the gyn. or cysts. If the gyn. hasnt check for either I would suggest that you ask to get checked for these things. I hope this helped, take care Heather

I have a 25 year old daughter who has had the same problem her whole life. I doesn't go away by it's self. Finally she was diagnosed with endometriosis. Her ovaries, tubes, and entire uterus had developed abnormal growths which keep her periods messed up and cause a great deal of discomfort. These growths are non cancerous, but have prevented her from having normal cycles or conceiving a baby. Even surgery has not eliminated this problem for her. Her hormone levels keep her in such a constant flux, that she has begun to doubt her own sanity.
I strongly urge you to keep seeking medical help and ask questions about the condition of endometriosis.

Aww, you sound like a worrying boyfriend :), i will comprehend it being a scare each and each month.. She could take beginning administration or you're able to tell her to bypass and communicate to her physician who will comprehend the thank you to alter them or do a pelvic examination to inform her if something is erroneous, (I doubt it). The pill is a robust theory. it is going to help regulate her sessions and is a robust kind of birth control. As for being concerned of having a blood clot: they are not extremely as difficulty-loose as anybody makes them out to be, until eventually there's a historic previous of blood clots in her family contributors, she could be ok.. as long as she is in any different case healthy. make confident to apply a condom everytime! desire this enables! :)

Have your body fat checked, you must have minimum body fat to be regular, most long distance female runner have this problem(low body fat). It needs correcting now or you may not produce ovum in the future, when you want to have a baby.
More then certain maximum body fat can also be the cause of it.
