You'll excuse me I hope, but you sure have some strange ways of thinking, this combined with the question you asked yesterday about Gay people "turning" their children Gay, makes me wonder about you.
I am not trying to insult you, just trying to figure out why you think the way you do.
Now, it is a fact that Married Men DO NOT live longer than their wives. They in fact by history die much younger, there are far more Widows than there are Widowers.

This married man does not have much longer to go, but not because of her.

I wish my wife were still alive. I'd like nothing better than to be able to work now to show my love by supporting her. I did for nearly 30 years. I never regretted a minute, or ever felt she was a burden.

Her job was much more difficult than mine. I could at least come home, unwind, and leave my work at work. Her job never ended.

Actually they live longer because they are happier. They also don't want to see their wife have to live in sadness after they are gone, so they hold on as long as they can. Proof? My father in law should have died many years ago. His wife died a year ago in December. He let go and died 6 months later. He always had to take care of her, he said, even though he was actually the more sick of the two.

Wise men do not get married. You are risking half of your assets on the whims of some woman who probably does not have your best interests at heart.

Its because women make sure their husbands go to the dr when they need to, its because women make their husbands nutritious meals everyday, its because women force men to take better care of themselves than they would if they didn't have anyone in thier lives. We may seem like we nag, but its because we care about you...

Sounds about right to me. I think married men are happier too the older they get. Who wants to be alone when their old.
