If you eat and drink a lot while you are on the computer you may just have dirt under the bar. It should pop up easily to check. Try a soft brush and a vacuum to clean the entire keyboard.

If you want a quick check.....go to the back of your tower and unplug the plug from the keyboard and then plug it back in. Sometimes that works at least it does for me.
MAKE SURE YOU SHUT DOWN FIRST!
As unbelievable as it sounds it works, I think it has something to do with a bug. I bought a new keyboard thinking it was bad. The new one did the same thing so I ask on Y! and got this information.
