For sure! Hate, like greed, is good. It gets the blood moving and takes us to our greatest heights. And it helps fill our prisons, which is why we are number one in the whole wide world in prison population.

You must have a healthy self love to have healthy relationships with others. For example, if a person has no self esteem and thinks they are the "scum of the earth" as you put it, they may allow themselves to be treated like doormats, or if they have children, they can become literally like their servants, which can result in spoiled ungrateful adults who will expect to be catered to. The person who loves like that may not take time to care for their own needs and wishes, and it will teach the next generation a warped sense of love. It can create dysfunctional families when people love others very strongly, yet have no love for themselves.

no, not at all necessary. many people simply dont know any other way to build themselves up except to tear down others. it is sad and born of low self-esteem and fear.
but many people focus on their OWN side of the street and work on personal growth thereby changing themselves.
VIRTUALLY NO ONE CHANGES UNLESS FORCED TO BY CIRCUMSTANCE
I was a tear downer till the age of 33. I was addicted to drugs and alcohol using around the clock and got arrested and rehabbed. That humbled me and I changed myself and I have stayed on that road over 20 years now and have a good life.... but 1st I had to nearly lose my life, I lost my home, my friends, my health and basically had nothing left but criminal charges and 20K in debts AND worst of all no sense of hope whatever, not even a tiny glimpse of a future or of thing possibly getting better. I was at the end before I changed.

no! u can love ur self and others as well if ud only look deep inside ur heart and stop letting little differences get in the way. once u open ur heart and look inside the hearts of others u will see that ppl just need to be loved and they are just the same as u r on the inside.

The Muslims uplift themselves by making everybody else who do not think or worship the way they do look like trash in their eyes. That's why they kill Buddhist ice cream vendors, blow up Jewish children, and destroy the Twin Towers. How much can you say for a culture like that?

if we hate others it's because we don't love ourselves......if we learn how to love ourselves then we'll be able to love every one else
