Your blade is dull and you are shaving over the same area too many times. Especially with a dull blade, do not go against the hair's growth.
Use warm water and make sure your skin is clean. Hair conditioner actually works the best to shave with. Don't press too hard with the blade. When done, pat dry and use a good unscented moisturizing lotion.
I have been smooth for over 7 years and I can always tell wehn my blade is dull as red bumps appear. Get a nice loofa wash towel and lightly rub the area while soaking in a nice hot bath. The next day the bumps should be gone. Good luck!

Average man? Nope. I've under no circumstances obvious a shaved man in all my years going to the health club, everywhere the country after I travel. I would wager it is less that 5% or even a smaller percentage. Although it appears extra boys are experimenting with shaving situated on feedback on this forum. However traditional- in no way. I'd suppose any man who should have pubes and absolutely shaves would get some ordinary stares and snickers in the locker room.

From irritation. If we were meant to have no hair down there,we wouldn't be born with it.It's there for a reason, like it can filter out and catch harmful particles&,fluids, and form a cushion to prevent the irritation of clothing or of just sitting somewhere. You can get rid of the red spots by using moisturisure or have them checked,it may be a infection that needs attention. The best thing to do is to stay as close to natural as you can...you will have less problems with your body!...Really!

Ouchies!

If you shave, be sure to prepare the area with warm water and lots of shaving cream. Always use a brand new razor blade. After shaving, soothe the area with moisturizer. And be prepared for ingrown hairs and itchy regrowth.

Why not just wax or neatly trim it with scissors?

those are curly pubes trying to come through the skin and some may become ingrown and fester under the skin whereas you may have to use tweezers to dig them out or lance them open with a sharp razor. Or, your skin may be sensitive to the soap in your clothes and be causing a rash or you may be sweating and your clothes are chafing or you may have lice. Body hair protects. Maybe just a trim is in order. If its lice, get some A200. Take care of your skin and always consult a health professional.

Shaving makes it very itchy. I use a bikini trimmer, its an electric razor, and you don't get itchy razor burn. Leaves you a bit stubbly though, razor blades are a closer shave, but is way too itchy for my liking.

Sounds like razor burn. I had that problem too, when I used to use a razor. I use an electric trimmer now...they sell them at drug stores, etc. It works well, you do not need water or having cream, and they do not give you razor burn.

You're making a problem area out of nothing. 1st of all, you're NOT intended to be shaving your vulva, PERIOD. As I continue to advise, nature put hair there for a GOOD REASON. JUST LEAVE IT ALONE & there won't be any problems. Nevermind what else you hear/see ; your labia look more attractive/sexier with hair.

It's called razor burn. Use a mild lotion on the outside skin but be careful not to get any of it near your vagina.
