Not crying or laughing, but it was a sad moment in the film. "Wilson" was his only touch with companionship for a long time on the island. Losing Wilson overboard was like losing his only friend. The character's crying after was less about losing the ball, as it was about his impending death on that broken raft and that he had finally succumbed to the elements after putting up a decent fight.
You sound like a pretty insensitive person if you can't see any of that.

All i know is a mag-lite has a lens which will make hearth, oops could have save that, then Wilson in case you think the extras on the DVD you will have found out the Director spent a week on a sea coast in Mexico to get a experience for the action picture and a soccer ball floated up and he desperate to jot down it into the action picture. yet in actual existence Wilson is problaly caught in the throat of a few die animal.

i was laughing/crying. it was kinda sad, but funny that he got attached to an inantimate object. sad because he had nothing else to do but spent his time talking to this volleyball!!!

This is the worst and most boring movie I had ever seen! I don't even know how I got myself to watch it all through till the end.
