Iraq, FEMA, stem cell research, pro athletic doping, business scandels, yada yada yada.
You wanna know what really makes this country's basket of cherries?
Our neglect for the flag.
I've travelled abroad plentily and I've seen my dosage of how people don't care for their flags, but in America we're the top notch flag abuser. We hardly take it in for the rain or when the day is over, we set laws making it an abuse to present it proudly in public, and we associate it with our nation's arrogant blunders more often than we do with out nation's successes. It's no wonder American opposition around the world finds it so simple and possible to burn American flags in public without arousing extreme pro-American sentiment.
Please guys, let's show the world that we really care about ourselves and not downgrade our one objective symbol of our country. We don't have to be proud to the point of hubris, but we should all respect and believe in the cloth which flies due to the efforts of the historical efforts made by our ancestors. The flag is meant to unite us, not divide us.

I am ashamed of Bush's Iraq strategy and policy. Also FEMA, Rumsfield, and the direction the Republicans are taking us. I sure hope Democrats win the Presidency to make our country great again.
