About today's programme in Discovery Channel!!!?

Today I watched a programme in the discovery channel, at 10 A.M. The programme is about earth. In that programme they shown that " the electromagnetic particles sprinkled by the sun by many explosions are stopped by the magnetic field around the earth and this magneticfield making not to reach these electromagnetic particles to the atmosphere of the earth."If there is no magnetic field around earth , there is no life on the earth. The question is that " why there exists magnetic field around the earth"?

secondly, the magnetic field is created by the motion of the earth's core inside of the earth. in effect the mostly iron and nickel core acts like a giant dynamo, creating a magnetic field. in essence turning the earth into a giant magnet.

its just geophysics. if it wasn't so we wouldn't be here to talk about it. or we would be quite a bit different.

To say that this field is necessary for life to exist on Earth is, I think, an exaggeration. The field dissappears and then reverses at long intervals, and in fact we are going into a phase of dissappearing magnetic field now. The primary defense against energetic particles is the atmosphere.

humorous, I see the background channel and the invention channel already exhibiting alot of exhibits that somewhat frankly are full of previous BS in help of the varous pretend motives like international warming. via the time they hit the television, they are incorrect on the subject of the latest records and look stupid.
