I just bought it and it is the first time with s/b/s. It doesn't seem to have more room even though it is much bigger than my previous fridge.(freezer on top)

I have also had 3 and got a new one last year. While the children were at home we had a 27 cu. ft. Our new one is sized down to 23. But it has taken some getting used to .

I have had to rearrange shelves and trays a couple of times to try to make more space. There are only two of us, so I thought that sizing down wouldn't be a problem. But after many years of the big one I too seem to be having a problem adjusting.

A lot of the reason is that it was $1300.00 less than our last one.

Good luck.

It's a mater of personal preference but I was watching a show on HGTV and they said a packed freezer is more efficient but a loosely loaded fridge is more efficient. Hope this helps!

I am on my 3rd s/b/s and have found that regardless of how it's organized, the food is gone so fast we never seem to have it too full to be a problem. :)
