Yeppers... we'd just come back from a day of cross country skiing. I made bannock biscuits and soup... a typical meal after a day outside. Had a major brain burp and forgot to put the shortening in the bannock... came out of the oven almost EXACTLY like hockey pucks... wrong colour is all! Weird experience as I thought I could make bannock in my sleep...

The first time I fried bacon I let it cook to long and I dropped a strip and it shattered into 100 pieces.{:-)

No, but I did make some tuna in cream sauce that looked very much like cat vomit. It tasted better than it looked.
