Where can I meet people on the net that live and work in South Africa?

If you are daring enough to meet people on-line and visit them in another country then that's your bag Hun!
I have heard that a great SA chat site called MIRC... do a search for it on google.co.za, but be weary cos i think that some chat rooms are under the belt.... unless that's what you want!

i agree with Anthony...
its never the best idea to hook up with anyone anywhere, especially having met them long distance. do come visit SA, get into the best hotel, and tour, enjoy the restaurants, clubs and other activities... you will be able to socialize with a lot of nice people. but dont go back home with anyone, and dont take anybody back with to the hotel. do take numbers of new friends but always meet in public places and ask the hotel staff and occupants about the places you've been invited to... all in all SA is fun and happening, so do have fun, mwah!

Ya, I agree with some of the posts, becarful with who you go with. If you don't know anybody, try going with a tour group, or plan to stay at a Hostel for a couple of days, its a great way to meet people to travel with. Ok, what are your reasons for going there? If you want to go to a place where you know someone than clearly this isn't the place for you to visit. You certainly don't want to go there to meet someone online. If you really want to go for educational or cultural purposes than try to bring a friend from home or go by yourself.

There's nothing wrong with meeting people on the net. Go to SA and enjoy yourself. Meet people on www.kayafm.co.za its a radio station with a chat site. Its great, and good people listen to it. not the likes of Alf

You can land yourself in big trouble with this one. I suggest you Google "crime south africa" so that you better understand the violence and crime that pervades South Africa.
