Is Velocity of a Sniff the same thing ?

The sense of smell is mediated through stimulation of the olfactory receptor cells by volatile chemicals. To stimulate the olfactory receptors, airborne molecules must pass through the nasal cavity with relatively turbulent air currents and contact the receptors. Important determinants of an odor's stimulating effectiveness include duration, volume, and velocity of a sniff.

No. The difference between light/sound and smell is that light/sound has a constant speed whereas smell is subjective.

Now, since for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction I wonder what the speed of darrk/silence would be.

Yes, there is a speed of smell, it is the exact same as the wind speed.

I don't know why you posted this here but there is no speed of smell. Odours are carried on currents of air, or through permeation in the air (in dead air, smell move but at a relative pace to the subtle currents in the room and/or area)

That would be the speed of air movement. Which depends, like the speed of sound, on the density and composition of the air.

Yes it is measured by the speed that the smell is released. Which goes by km/h

NO...smell is actuall particles of matter than get to your nose through wind and air...so it can go faster or slower depending on wind currents, etc. It is not a constant.
