Queen did - it is Freddie Mercury's tribute to Elvis which is why it sounds like it does. I thought this song was great when it came out and I still think it holds up today, all these years later.
Hey My Girls you should have read the link before you posted - it rightfully credits Freddie Mercury for writing and his band Queen for performing.

"Crazy Little Thing Called Love" is a song performed by Queen, written by Freddie Mercury in 1979. People often mistake it for Elvis because of the style of the song and well as Mercury's vocie when he sings

It is a Queen song. Elvis never sang it. An Elvis sound a like by the name of Orion recorded it. Jimmy "Orion" Ellis was not an Elvis impersonator but tried to have his own career. His natural voice was so close to Elvis that radio airplay was virtually impossible.

I think elvis is the one that came out with that song, i herd it by elvis before Queen (if they sang the song) had ever sung the song.

Well, Freddie Mercury was gay, which has no bearing on anything cause he was a pretty good singer and he could "tickle" the ivories pretty good.
But Elvis was just a big, fat bloated NARC for the Nixon REGIME
