Yes, of course. This is not an opinion, but a biological fact. Every abortion kills an innocent human being. By the time most women know they are pregnant (3 weeks after conception), their baby's heart is already beating. For more information, see:

Being that murder is the killing of an innocent life, I say it is murder. While the far left claim it isn't a human being yet, because it isn't out of the womb yet, I say that is a lame excuse. It isn't going to turn into a dog, cat, or frog. Medical science has proved that the baby at 16 weeks has a heart beat and the pain receptors respond to stimuli. Apparently the brain is far more developed than what pro abortion activists would like to admit. Killing a baby whether it is in, or out of the womb is murder and barbaric. And partial birth abortion is insane. And all of this is done, because a child is going to be an inconvenience. Even before I became a Christian I felt that abortion was cold blooded murder.
As far as the comment below about people that are pro life are often for the death penelty and war. Yes, I am for the death penalty for a person that has murdered a person, as in purposefully and with intent the taking of an innocent human life. As far as war, if it is a justifiable war against an evil that can not be tolerated, or allowed, yes, I am for it. These things can not even be compared to the same morals that tie into the abortion issue. It is far different and only a person in denial of reality would think there is no difference.
While murder is always killing, killing is not always murder. To kill in self defense, or done in war to vanquish an enemy, or done as a punishment for a heinous crime is not murder.
To kill an innocent child is murder. Plain and simple. It is sick to kill a child, because it is an inconvenience to your life at the moment. May God have mercy on you for doing such a heinous thing. It is ironic how many of these pro abortionists are against the death penalty. That is a hypocrisy to the absurd degree.

Abortion is a nice sugar coated word for killing or murdering. Yes under certain circumstances there are exceptions. Abortion has really become an alternative type of birth control. Ironically those in favor of abortion (it's a free country), all have one thing in common. That is at least their moms didn't think they were parasitic biological waste. I am not a religious freak, and mind you I can see at times where it's necessary. My two cents worth. Chow

I think it's generally believed that a fetus has no consciousness. It's basically comatose, so it probably wouldn't feel or even be capable of feeling what we call pain. But, abortion is literally taking a potential life and destroying it. Imagine having the next Einstein in your womb and you decide to take away that life... That's a loss for society as a whole. I personally don't believe in abortion unless the woman was raped, but then that would complicate a lot of what's already a very controversial issue... Generally speaking, I think abortion is wrong. How can you feel comfortable with the fact that you are taking the life of your own child?

I have always found questions like these to be interesting. Most people I know who believe that abortion is murder consider themselves to be religious and/or socially conservative. They seem to have no problem calling themselves "pro-life" while at the same time being for the death penalty or pro-war. It seems that for them human life is only precious when it is a fetus or infant, but later the value of that life may be reduced drastically. They also tend to NOT be in support of government sponsored social programs that would support an unwanted child--nor would they be interested in adopting or financially supporting an unwanted child themselves. Also, statistics show that in the U.S., transracial adoptions make up only about 8% of total adoptions. So, it would also seem that race/ethnicity plays a large role in the decision to adopt an unwanted child. Gender also seems to play a big part.

I also think that this issue is a women's rights issue. Should a woman be forced to have a child if she has been raped? Should she be forced to have a child if she is truly unwilling or incapable of properly caring for the child? Does her opinion or decision matter?

Scientists, philosophers, politicians and religious leaders will always argue about when human life begins. There will never be any agreement.

We can't even agree about how to care for all of the people already in the world who really need it.

Killing and murder are the same thing; you can't change the fact that the baby is human, murder is the taking of human life.

Murder,

There is a heartbeat, a soul, and they feel pain.

They committed no sin, they committed no crime. they did not even ask to be concieved.

Why then should we kill innocents while allowing the guilty to live on a free ride in prison.

Killing and murder are not the same... view my last answer to the askers other question.

Unfortunately according to definition abortion is not murder.

Abortion is the ending of a life by choice or by spontaneous abruption.

I believe it to be murder, unless the your life is threatened by the life of the child.

Now for the rationale: If you shoot a person for no reason it is murder, but if it is done to save your life, it is self defense.
