1) Organize your work so you don't wind up cramming.
2) Make allies in your key classes and share info, insights and studying.
3) Study, study, study.
4) Get to know your professors. You will be able to figure out what they like and what they want from you. Then stick with them as much as possible - take as many of their courses as you can within the limits of your major/minor/mini requirements.
5) Do not allow your social life to mess up your school work.
6) Stay away from drugs. This requires resistance to peer pressure.
7) Use alcohol with moderation.
