My step-daughter has a large collection of beanie babies, they were stored in a garage, and they smell like dogs, mildew & ekkk, how can I remove the odors without damage to the collection?

I would try putting them in a plastic garbage bag with some baking soda. Shake them up so that the baking soda gets on the stuffed animals, and then let them sit for awhile (a day or so.) When you take them out of the bag, toss them in your dryer (along with a dryer sheet) to remove any of the baking soda and to fluff them...this should work.

I wouldn't worry about them, the Baenie Baby crazy is gone. You might be able to get $1 each for them.
Besides, if they were stored in the garage, how impotant can they be to her?
