Fascinating question! The constant bombardment of Beach Babes & Dudes in commercials on the tube, not too many oldsters.

Not too many movie roles for women over 35 while juicier roles for men continue on until they are far past that age. American Idol contestants capping at 28. AARP membership beginning at 50. Companies practicing agism in hiring personnel and forcing people to retire earlier.

You won't see many movies about love stories between mature adults. In fact, most people cringe when thinking about their parents making love! Well how the heck did THEY get here in the FIRST place!

Oh, yeah, the media is not shy about Depends, Polident, Garden State Life Insurance & retirement communities, oh, no...we are certainly well represented there with our Silver tressed smiling hosts and hostesses!

Just ask any cosmetic surgeon - in NY and especially, LA - they don't have to worry about retirement benefits, they will have made enough money to retire in their career in 10 years of practice, if that for most. The need to look young - a multi-BILLION dollar industry.

The modeling field - you're OLD at 21.
