Impossible question. Not because it is impossible to produce infinite quantities of goods, but because it is impossible to satisfy human wants.

If it were possible to produce infinite quantities of goods, economics would still apply. There will always be scarcity--scarcity of time, of attention, of emotion, of intellect.

Think of it this way. It is entirely possible to produce infinite quantities of your favorite entertainer's product. (For our purposes, let's say "infinite" means "enough to satisfy everyone who wants it.) We can copy all of their songs, all of their movies, distribute copies through the internet, have pirated CDs burned in third world countries--it's done.

What we cannot do is produce infinite quantities of your favorite entertainer. There's only one Kiera Knightley, and if I want her, I've got to have some currency that she'll accept--a sparkling wit, a brilliant intellect, or a 12-inch...well, a 12-inch wad of bills wouldn't mean much in a world where goods are infinite, but mad cooking skillz would. Kiera being Kiera, it's likely that she wouldn't settle for less than all three.

I suppose that this would mean that in the closest approximation to the world you describe, people with no talent and no personality couldn't hide their shortcomings behind money and things. People with skills and with friends would be the most successful people in that world--which they are in this one, except it isn't as obvious.
