I took a hpt today at 12:00am and took another one at 8:30am. Both negative. Should I give up? I have no pms symptoms nor pg symptoms. Just very slight cramps that comes and go every hour. Am I suppose to have felt any pg symptoms by now?

Please help!

I did it on the day of my ovulation feb. 9th. Using an OPK and a chart both were positive. So I thought I increase my chances. Right now I'm really overwealm.

No dont give up youre just testing too early thats all! You need to wait at least 4 days before your periods due & only then can you use particular brand tests which are more sensitive than others. Idealy you should wait about a week after a missed period for an accurate result - it gives it time for the pregnancy hormone in your body to build up. At the earliest wait until your missed period I would advise! At this stage - you may well be pregnant but the hormone wont have built up enough in your body. Some people do begin to experience other symptoms before a missed period but some do not, so dont worry its more common the symptoms would begin AFTER your missed period such as sore enlarged breasts, tiredness, fatigue, frequent urination, nausea etc.
Sit tight & take a test once your period is missed or one of the brands where you can test a few days in advance, remember the result is not as accurate in % as one when you take it after your missed period still.
Alternatively if you go to your doctor they can carry out a blood test which is more sensitive & can give a result a few days after conception. good luck x

Most tests that claim to be able to detect before your period is due work up to 4 days before and the percentage of women who tested positive 4 days before the period was due is something like 56%, rising to 87% for women who tested on the day their period was due.
It is no good me saying don't worry and wait until your period is due, because I know very well how hard that 2 week wait is, and how you will be looking for any little sign that might possibly suggest that you could be pregnant.
I have had 6 pregnancies, 5 successful and one miscarriage, and have never really experienced any real pregnancy symptoms with any of them, a little nausea maybe, but that doesn't usually start until about 6/7 weeks. You might not get any pregnancy symptoms until half way through the first trimester, or you may wake up on the day your period is due throwing up, the whole works! Nobody can tell.
I really hope it is positive for you when you take the next test, try to wait until nearer the time, but if you want to keep testing have a look on eBay, I have found these excellent HPTs, nothing fancy, but really cheap, they do ovulation sticks too, so if this month isn't the month, maybe you could try using those and next month will be a +.
Good Luck!

Hi! Well, I would say that pregnancy test are accurate if you are at least a week past your period. But, I not kidding, if you know your body really well, and you think you might be pregnant, you could be. I knew I was pregnant with my last two children before I was late on my period. It was just the way I felt mentally. I keep saying this, get a digital test. They are very accurate and they pick up the hormone very early. I know...they are expensive, but well worth it. It if says negative, then don't take another test for at least a week! Very best of luck to you! :)

You are much more likely to get a false negative than an accurate result at this stage anyway. Just try to stop spending money on tests and wait till Feb 26th at least!
I know it's hard but theres no sense wasting loads of money

Pregnancy symtpoms don't usually start til after your period is late. Pregnancy tests this early are very inaccurate. Wait, test when your period is late.

your are probably not then. if it is due on the 25th you should wait. if it does not come in a couple of weeks take another test. you are most likely not since your period is due on the 25th youre probably getting it.
