Name of birth control?

i want to take birth control and i have an appt in a couple of weeks w/ the gyn. anyways i was wondering what is the name of the one that makes your peroid last for 3 days and be very light. i know that there are probably other ones too but if you can reccmond any bc that makes ur peroid last for only 3 days or less that would be good Cal Poly Chica i know you have an answer

I am on the Nuva ring. You leave it in for 3 weeks and take it out for one. I nly have my period for a day , maybe 2 days at the most with his method of BC. It is much easier than taking the pill too.

I tried the Ortho Evra Patch...it is supposed to stay on for 7 days at a time, but mine always came off too early and was itchy.
