No question.
When I was a minor it was almost impossible to get alcohol, but getting marajuana or any other illegal substance was a piece of cake. Why, because when things are legal they are easier to control.
Not to mention, the revenue that could be generated for education, social security or health care would be staggaring.
I say legalize it and tax the hell out of it.

It matters not weather they are made legal or not your still going to get your people, child and women traffickers. There will always be pain suffering and misery associated with prostitution and drugs.
Legalising drugs is OK in theory but the message your sending to our young and impressionable kids if you do so is that drugs are legal so therefor cool and anyone can take them at any time.
Besides the Americans may have made alcohol illegal and then changed there minds but they still have the problem of illegal brewing of alcohol, bootleggers, and the likes.
Proceeds from drugs and prostitution go towards funding even more criminal activities if you made them legal then your basically giving the criminal a free hand and a license to print money.
Crime rates would rise and you would still have your illegal prostitution and drug dens the same as we have illegal drinking dens (IE: clubs and even individuals using there own living rooms opening drinking establishments without paying any Taxes or being licenced) OH that's OK you say there stuffing the government good on them.
All well and good but these dens are helping fund the criminal underworld.
IS THE RISE IN CRIME AND FEAR NOT BAD ENOUGH AS IT IS, DO YOU REALLY WANT TO EMPOWER THE CRIMINAL ANYMORE THAN THEY ARE?
The government can only monitor a SITUATION TO A CERTAIN EXTENT. Legalisation is not the right road to go down in my opinion my friend.
All the best,

I think its obvious that the drugs laws don't work, and until recently I would have welcomed any change. Legalislation or a complete crackdown, anything is better than the present system that only makes it easier for drug dealers to operate.
However after seeing the effect that the declassification of Cannabis has had, I would definatly be against legalising drugs now. Watching 13 years olds on the main street smoking joints at 10 o'clock on a Saturday morning whilst I am with my kids is bad, what will it be like to see them shooting up smack?
No the authorities have to come down hard on druggies and dealers, 3 strikes and you are out. 1st and 2nd time offer therapy to get off drugs, 3rd time lock them up and throw away the key. society is a better place without them.
It doesn't bother me about prostitution being legalised, but the authorities should legislate against the sad sacks who use them.
Kerb crawling should be an offence and targeting of men who use women, that is the way to make it safer for prostitutes to work.

The US States that have legalised prostitution have suffered no ill effect. More tax money is generated, the girls are a lot safer, health controls are in place, testing is mandatory and they are usually located well out of view of anybody who may find them offensive
In terms of drugs I also agree. Lots of people say weeds a gateway drug, and being an avid user of it I can assure you that's rubbish. What got me onto other drugs wasn't because I smoked a coupla joints of a weekend, it was because I saw other people take them and got curious. I'd tried a few before I even became a stoner. The other issue is the dealers themselves picking kids getting them on one substance then pushing the real nasty stuff like crack with the line "If you think that's good you GOTTA try this"
Legalised makes it much more likely that people would make informed decisions.
Ultimately though I think the key thing, which everyone knows, is that the only way to solve a problem is to get it out in the open and sorted, sweeping it under the rug solves nothing

Yes prostitution should be legalised so that it can be controlled and taken of the streets. With the growing number of sexually transmitted diseases it would certainly be sensible if it was licensed and health checks compulsory.Drugs are a different matter your talking about bringing that out on the streets and that's something society doesn't want and laws are there supposedly to protect society.

As far as prostitution is concerned, a well regulated industry that respects age of consent laws as well as some regulation for porn (like being 18 or older at least) would be somewhat better.
Drugs, well, its another situation. While marijuana is relatively harmless (like alcohol), many drugs can be extremely dangerous. The way I see it, legalise marijuana and make the laws stronger on other drugs.

For the drug subject it relatively is a robust, and undesirable subject. Prostitution i've got self belief might desire to proceed to be unlawful, yet having suggested that it relatively is a unfastened u . s .. they're staggering.. Sexually transmitted illnesses could be a serious problem, yet having suggested that it already is a serious problem. yet relatively, what share thoughts have you ever heard of a individual getting the HIV/AIDS ailment in direction of prostitution. despite if it replaced into criminal everywhere in the states it would be annoying to tension each and every of the escorts to be checked.
