Make it so he can only send and receive email from people in his address book? Is it possible? If not, any rec. for really good kid safe email servers?

Can't there is one standard port for sending and receiving email. If you try blocking them he will not be able to receive or send emails. POP3 (post office protocol 3 for receiving email) uses port 110. SMTP (simple mail transfer protocol) uses port 25

If we could limit incoming mail to only those in our address books, none of us would be bothered with Spam mail at all
I don't believe any site will restrict email to only those known to the account holder...
