America rules, there's freedom there, different parts, east coast, west coast, lots of beautiful places, snow in alaska, and sun in california/florida. You can't compare a boring country like Britain to the USA. USA dominates the world, just look at films, music...etc. America is a great country, GREAT. I wander why so many poeple immigrate to america, especially from the UK, lets face it, the UK is just one country, boring people, nothing special and crappy weather. USA anyday, god bless...

For a start your use of English is terrible. Place names have a thing called captials, as in Alaska - not alaska. "I wander..." should read as "I wonder..." Since we have established that your command of written English is subpar, and your misplaced ignorant/ arrogant patriotism is misplaced, let me outline a few things for you.

How do you define a "boring" country? What makes the US so... exciting? You mentioned films and music. Films like the 'Police Academy' movies, or movies like 'Barbershop', or what about all the crappy sitcoms your country endlessly churns out for your own dumbed-down generation of viewers?

Us poor Brits only have films like 'Lawrence of Arabia', '2001: A Space Odyssey', the 'Harry Potter' films, and television programs like 'Monty Python', 'The Office' and 'Fawlty Towers'...geez I could go on. (By the way, Charlie Chaplin - that great American comic, was an Englishman).

As for music, ever hear of 'The Beatles? I'm pretty sure they were voted the greatest group of all time.

Your ignorance was continued with... "The UK is just one country" Actually the UK comprised four different countries, England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Looks like you have a lot of catch up study to do, but considering the state of the American education system, we will forgive you if it takes you a few years to catch up to British standards.

This question cannot be answered. There are over 60 million British people for a start. America may be a great country but it has many faults and many good aspects which ensures diverse debate about all sorts of issues in which the USA plays a significant role.
I recently saw a documentary indicating that Americans were flocking to Canada so why is that occurring if USA is so great?
America has produced most of the greenhouse gases which will be responsible for sea levels rising so I hope they are prepared to take even more emigrants (environmental refugees) from low lying countries like UK and Holland in the future - it's only fair they should help fix their own mess.

You are entitled your opinion but why doesn't England have different parts. The New world, America, was first colonised by britain which is why it still speajs english now. So if America speaks English now it had been influenced by Britain.
Do you want an answer or do you just want to express your opinion?

Reputation is how other people think of you. Reputation is NOT what you think of yourself. Clearly you haven't figured that out yet, otherwise you would know how hated your country is.

It wouldn't surprise me in the least if the only time you have been outside of the US was for beer and sex tourism. The only Yanks with the brains to realize how arrogant an stupid their country is are the ones who lived outside its protection.

They do act like they "fathered" the US. I'm Native American, so really all they did was invade a country that was already populated. Oh, wait, we aren't considered humans over there still--rather they still call us "Red Indians," which is EXTREMELY offensive. And let's not forget their smallpox blanket idea....

It's also one of the most racist, classist countries in the world, often bullying nations with a weaker global chokehold and only seems to care about money and power, and not the welfare of its citizens as demonstrated by the dwindling social security and flawed health care systems, not to mention to virtually nonexistent middle class.
