7 days I have been spotting at first on that Tuesday I was standing and had a gush of bright red blood come out got real scared I had an app on 15th doc was at meeting nurse who does u/s was out sic so I went to er doc said it did not sound like a m/c but there was no sense in doing a u/s cause u would not be able to see anything so I am still spotting alittle blood in with discharge that is dark in color. I have made an app for the 5th I will be 7 weeks but should i get the app earlier than the 5th or jus go with the flow and jus keep my app . I am really jus nervous as hell cause I cany figure out what is going on . Does anyone have any suggestions on this subject or any input to ease my mind :-( I had no clots and doc told me to rest and when i went to er she put me on bedrest for 2 days

i had this when i was pregnant with my daughter i bled near enough all the way through the pregnancy i was in and out of hospital like a yo yo and was put on bed rest for weeks at a time i did go on to go full term with her so you never know x good luck

You have already gone to the ER and the ER doctor put you on bed rest for 2 days. From what you are saying you have continued to spot with no additional large bleeds. I know this is a long time to wait for additional answers, but you have been taking care of yourself and do not seem to be in jeopardy. I have had sever bleeding and the gushing circumstance due to three different reasons.
First - unfortunate, a miscarriage. I had a miscarriage the day after I took a preg. test and found I was expecting. I was about 8 weeks along and then I spotted for about 2 additional weeks and I skipped one cycle. I never went to the ER, but went to my OB and they checked and confirmed the miscarriage. Since it happed so early and I was only spotting they told me my by body had done all it needed to do. You could have been even earlier (like 3-4 weeks). If so, you have my condolences.
Second - after childbirth I would have 1-2 of these bizarre gushing cycles within 6 moths to 1 year after I started cycling again. The OBs told me if I went through more than 1 pad an hour for more than 3 hours I should go to the ER. I never got that far, but it was a royal pain!
Third - I have just been diagnosed with a polyp and it is messing with my cycles big time. I can have a these periods with 'gushes' every day or two or a 14 day period, go 7-14 days and then start again, or go 6-8 weeks and then have some spotting. I am scheduled for out patient surgery to remove them and I’ve be told this should resolve the irregularities in my cycle.
Waiting is the hardest part, but you are taking care of yourself. I'm no doctor, but my gut feel is that (physically) you will be OK.

go to an emergency asap ! they have to do a u/s ! i had the same symptoms on friday .. they told me everything is ok .. i was on bedrest for 2 days also .. come monday morning .. a litlle more blood .. i went to the hospital they kept me in the waiting room for over an hour and i miscarried right there in the waiting room .. it started off with a drop of blood .. then some cramping a few days later and then a few more drops of blood and then non stop blood and cramping i did not have ne clots until today .. go to the hospital there is stuff they could do to stop it if its not too late! not trying to scare you ..

my friend exoerianced that..soundsno offence like a miscarriage to me you should be going to the emergency room. take a home tests too
