I am doing some research for a course I am teaching and was wondering what people look for when they decide whether to be friends with someone.

Well in a freind I look for a very honest person. You know someone who will be there and simeone who cares! I mean you can't call eveyrone your friend; they don't always really care baout you!! They just use you for what you have and to have fame..it's ridiculous! So if you are deciding how to befriend someone...just be truthful and respectful

Good ethics, able to understand you, likes you of course, loyal, honest enough to tell you the truth gently if it is something negative, always there for you when you need someone to talk to, has your best interest at heart, enjoy mostly the same things.

Someone whos sincere, truthful, humble and harmless.. Its some time, I experience different types of people I decided this is what I'm looking for. :)

I look for someone who I can count on. They won't leave me for someone else, especially in times of hardship. They don't lie to you and they trust you. And a friend always stands up for you, even of you're wrong.

a sense of humor....someone who is nice...funny...and outgoing..someone understanding...honest...loyal...trustworthy...confident...sensative...not shy...caring....not an asshole......yeah....theres much more...but i cant think of any right now.....
