Seriously, I'm not being snotty, I really want to know. Four months ago, as a liberal, I was told that my objection to the actions of the President and Congress was treasonous. I was told that I may not agree with the President, but I do have to support him and stand behind everything he does, or I don't love my country.
Now, I'm hearing nothing but insults, criticism and derision by neocons about the Democratic-dominated Congress.
So my question is... are they hypocrites, or just childish?

That's a tactic...to call you unpatriotic when you don't support the president or the war. To guilt you into supporting them. If fear doesn't work, then they play into your guilt. The fact is you are being patriotic. We should always question.
They are being hypocritical. They are now not supporting Congress, but they will never tell themselves they are being unpatriotic. And, they aren't being unpatriotic, but they have no problems calling someone else that.

first off anyone who says you have to agree with the president or anyone is wrong. ive yet to hear anyone nationally say that. its been said that attempts that undermine the troops and encourage the enemy are treasonous. ex: ted kennedy (the murderer himself you or me would be in jail, hes in office) this war is illegal etc. broadcast worldwide. all his pals voted for it like hillary, her husband said it on tv in 98 there were wmd. as far as the insults you apparently missed all insults by the liberals on every subject, or maybe because you agreed with the insults they were ok! even though they were much more vicious then, and lies like all the louisiana national gaurd was in iraq ( harry reid nancy pelosi) when only 25% were in iraq why the lie. did it change anything no. all the finger pointing does is end any chance to acomplish anything good! i say when a politican says an untruth or inacurate they should pay a price. i have a question for you. i can name about 6 republicans off the top of my head that lost an extremly close election and walked away. can you name one democrat? i cant ! they file with the court!

No more so than their counterparts in the Democratic side. Remember, we are all human, and therefore, fallible. And, we all tend to see our viewpoint in a biased fashion. Yes. There are despicable insults hurled by people of both political persuasions. The thing I find funny is, that they aren't even the extremes of the political spectrum, and both lie fairly close to the middle, until you take into account the unofficial coalitions they both have made.

Yes, a few misguided individuals would confuse freedom of speech with treason. They're not hypocrites, they're childish. They really define "treason" as any opposition to the Republican Party. These individuals do not represent the party as a whole.
With that said, name-calling and barbed questions are just as childish.

They are not hypocrites. The problem is that they have a solution that the Dems/libs don't like. So they go to war against the Neocons.
The Dems want an easy way out of Iraq to boost their poll ratings. Neocons know that it will be a disaster.

Oh yes, having no solutions of their own (which dont include invading more foreign countries and subjecting people to the US brand of Democracy, whether they want it or not), it is now time to trot out the Money-Wasting Commissions to investigate every little inconsequential thing a Democrat does in Congress or the White House.
These are the same people who sent your children to war without adequate body or vehicle armor. The same people who spent $12 Billion to feed our soldiers rancid, rotting food and drinking water contaminated with fecal matter. The same ones who then CUT soldier pay and benefits twice in 6 years, the same ones who force soldiers to go on Welfare to feed their children.
The same ones who disrespect REAL US veterans, in favor of electing a man who went AWOL during Vietnam, which makes him a Deserter and Traitor to the US, and yet they embrace him as a competent Commander in Chief, when he has never led ONE person to vitcory on the field of battle. The same ones who question Barack Obama's experience (or lack thereof) even though he has already served in the Senate longer than Bush was govenor of Texas. The EXACT same ones (specifically Karl Rove) who authorized a dispicable practice known as "push-polling" where they call potential voters and tell them disgusting lies about real patriots (S. Carolina 2000 Primary, McCain kicked Bush's rear badly in the NH primary, so in SC, all of a sudden religious voters were being called and asked -would they support McCain, even though he fathered a black child out of wedlock and raised it as his own? It isnt true; The McCain child is black, but he was legally adopted and has no genetic connection to McCain or his wife. Horrified religious voters in SC shunned McCain and voted for Bush. "Push-polling" could be a direct reason McCain dropped out of the race). Then immediately after another Vietnam vet, John Murtha, critcized Bush, they tried to smear HIM, but the US reacted very hostilely to these attacks, so Neos had to back off.
Neo Conservative, Thy Name is Hypocracy.
