I think the cabal that brought George Bush into office planned the invasion of Iraq back when they served in the cabinet of his father. Wolfowitz, Pearle, Cheney ...all advocated invading Iraq during the Gulf war and were slapped down by George Bush Sr.

I believe, and much testimony has been given, that unverified information that supported going to war was sought, elevated and presented to the American people as justification for invading Iraq.

So George Bush, our current President, is either an ignorant dupe of his cabinet, or a willing participant in the deception.
