Thoughts on the GAP brand?

- What are your thoughts and feelings of how the brand currently looks?
- Who would you consider the target audience?
- Who would you consider major competition?

Well they are about to become other retail disaster as they have been called late 70's boring dull so looks as if they might go under the hammer with one of the leading supermarkets taking control but not re branding as such.

So who knows they might make other come back.

Gap clothes look OK, but the quality isn't too great, which is why I don't like to go there (it's expensive and not that good). Target audience is pretty much people of all age groups. They have gap kids and the normal gap which is for adults. To be honest, I can't think of a store that competes with Gap. Gap, Old Navy and Banana Republic are all owned by the same parent company.

I have only bought Gap children's clothing. I think the adult styles are a bit boring. The children's clothing is cute. I think they target more conservative people. Major competition I think is Tommy Hilfigure, Ralph Lauren, as for children's clothing: The Children's Place.

Over priced understyled crap.they`re always trying to make us girlies look like men. Why is that? everyone is competion even charity shops.In fact i prefer charity shops.
