I believe these idiots should be informed that if they want to stick their necks out and climb mountains in horrendous conditions, they get in trouble at their own risk. I don't care what kind of wacky things people want to do for their thrills but it's outrageous that the authorities then pour thousands of dollars and hundreds of man hours into their rescue.
In the case of this most recent incident, in addition it makes me boiling mad that those people took a helpless dog with them into harm's way. Kill yourself if you must, but do NOT deliberately put in danger, and possibly cause the death of another innocent living being who didn't have the ability to refuse.
In a previous incident four men, all married with children, took off in the worst possible weather, to climb the most dangerous side of the mountain, and lost their lives. Their lives did not belong only to them. Their lives and their well being were vested in their families, who are now left to go on without them. It was a totally unnecessary waste of life, and I find their behaviour irresponsible bordering on criminal.

Mountain climbing and other high risk 'adventures' should be "at your own risk". No rescue should be attempted in weather like those rescurers had to face. It put them in danger also.
The climbers knew the risks, they should also know that unless conditions are favorable for rescue, there won't be any.
They wanted the 'thrill' .......they should pay the bill! Charge them for rescue costs.

i % a powerfuble e book, in basic terms like i could % a powerfuble action photograph. My sort one rule is, if it makes me cry, it quite is exceeded my attempt. i admire books that make me journey as though the characters and their circumstances are quite. i desire to leave out that i'm even reading. a powerfuble e book is one which retains you up into the early hours of the morning. you ultimately finally end up crying, shaking in undertaking or exhilaration. those are the books that are "skin breaking" for my section. So some people could quite like Twilight, diverse's hate it. as long by using fact it made somebody, someplace get those chills and goosebumps, it quite is considered a powerfuble e book in my head. suitable-written does not neccessarily advise it has to have huge vocab and a powerful sort of information you do not additionally be attentive to what's occurring, to me it in basic terms potential that the author is attentive to what he or she is doing with their tale. Oh suitable, i'm rambling, so i visit end. yet if certainty learn, a powerfuble e book has to snatch you by using the hair and throw you suitable right into a international you under no circumstances knew existed and pass away you awe-struck and at a loss for words on an identical time because it quite is over.

It angers me that rescuers take time away from others who need help in order to rescue these morons who take chances for the fun or thrill of it. It also costs the taxpayers a great deal of money to rescue these people. First responders do realize that there's risk involved when they choose that career but why should they risk or lose their lives for no good purpose?

I finally find someone who agrees with me on this! Why in the hell are you going to climb a MOUNTAIN with nothing but snow and ice covering it and the possibility of more snow and ice coming through while your climbing! THEN you have the nerve to fall off the damn mountain and expect people to stop from helping other people in need, to find you and your dumb partners in a small cave! Thank you for letting me vent!

I agree. Any moron who is too stubborn to use a sensor, should have the "freedom" of being lost and dying at the top of a mountain without anybody looking for them. That would be a real thrill for them!

you are right, every climber that climbs should have an insurance policy or bond put up before they climb to pay for the rescue. Each rescued person (or estate of) that does not have a bond or insurance policy should be slapped with a law suit or fine to recover the cost

I think that first responders know the job that they have signed up for, and have a responsibility to do it. So no, it does not upset me.
