I left my car under a tree while I was away for a week and it is covered in thick bird droppings. Disgusting! How do I remove them?

Soak some kitchen towel in warm water - lay it across the droppings for 10 -15 mins and then lift it off and it should have softened enough to wipe away! Then wash your car

Get a small towell and wet it by warm water leave it on the bird dropping, have a cup of coffee and by then it will be easy to remove. BE CAREFULL not to force it if you do force it, it will remove some or whole the paitings. Good luck

as already suggested soak to soften them use a pressure washer to remove if the ammonia has eaten into the paintwork. compound and tcut should recover this. use a cloth wrapped around a rubber block. dont use compound excessively or you will rub through the paintwork.

I USE WD-40 DILUTED WITH WATER
SPRAY ON THICK AREAS
LAY A SOAPY FILM ON TOP OF WHOLE COVERED AREAS(WATER, DISH DETERGENT) FROM A BUCKET
LET SIT FOR ABOUT A HALF AN HOUR(TO SOFTEN AND NOT DAMAGE PAINT)
THEN IT'LL ALL JUST WASH RIGHT OFF LIKE IT WASN'T EVEN THERE
A PRESSURE WASHER INSTANTLY BLOWS IT AWAY
AFTER DOING THIS

Take your car to the car-wash.

Not sure where you are but there is a drive-through one at the O2 Centre in West Hampstead that charges about £3.

No mess, no fuss, no dirty hands.

SSS Avon rubs them off easy or a little babyoil.

I use boiling water, you'll just need to wax. It won't hurt the paint.
