Why is it that we RARELY if ever, see 'good' Democrats rebuking the crazy, looney radical lefties who also call themselves Democrats ?
Now I know we're gonna see Democrats doing the typical 'Well you guys don't rebuke your radicals' answers . But that's only 'passing the buck' .
How many Democrats who reply, will actually ANSWER THE QUESTION ? Hmmmmm .

It's a logical thought, Ernest, but unfortunately good democrats are muzzled or worse.
I mean, just look what happened to Joe Lieberman. He expressed support for the Iraq war. The dems promptly kicked him out in favor of the single-issue, no-experience Ned Lamont. Thankfully, the people in that state, overall, had enough sense to re-elect Lieberman as an independent.
But this is just it. You can't be in the democratic party and express a different view, or you WILL be punished one way or another... It's sad really. The democrats USED to be an honorable party... No more.

You would think rational Democrats would be embarrassed to have the likes of Al Sharpton, Howard Dean, Al Franken, and Cindy Sheehan being among their most vocal spokesmen.
(I really have to give a rebuttal to Will J.) Will, you are wrong, wrong, wrong. You make some points, but generally you are way off target.
CON VALUES = RADICAL ISLAM VALUES. --->> No, Conservatives are all about liberty and freedom. The Islama Fascists are about tyranny and stifling contol.
They both share the same attitude regarding women. --->> Have you seen Bush's cabinet? Lots of women. Condi Rice is our Secretary of State. Bush tried to appoint a woman to the Supreme Court. We're ready to have Condi as our next President, so your argument is ludicrous.
Both are hard-liners on crime and punishment. -->> This is the only valid point you make, so congrats on this one. However, how many times have you heard of a liberal judge letting someone go, whether he was a murderer or drunk driver, and then discover he killed again? How about child molesters? Are you sure you want to go down this road. (However, you make a fine, valid point. It is logical and well presented. Kudos to you.)
Both are isolationists. --->> What are you smoking? Nixon was the one who reached out to Communist China. Reagan became great buddies with Gorbachev. We simply aren't empty headed and naive about the intentions of some foreigners. Clinton just trusted North Korea when he signed a nuclear treaty with them, and look what happened. Remember Reagan's words, "Trust, but verify".
They are traditionalists. --->> Here you are both wrong and right. Reagan was a visionary. He saw an intractable enemy whom everyone said was indestructible. They just wanted some peaceful coexistence. Reagan said, no we can force them to dismantle their empire. Bush saw the Middle East, and area rife with sectarian hatred, backwardness, and religious intolerance. Instead of liberals, with their soft bigotry of low expectations, who think Middle Easterners can't handle democracy, Bush sees intelligent and capable people who can learn to rule themselves without a strongman dictator keeping them in line.
They want religion to be the heart of government. -->> No, this is just plain wrong. However, the pendulum has swung way too far in the opposite direction; you can't even have traditional Christmas displays anymore. The Constitution says freedom "OF" religion, not freedom "FROM" religion. Seeing a nativity scene in no way harms anyone.

Unfortunately, for all of us, the democrat party has become the party of the "crazy, loony radical lefties" instead of a viable political party that you used to be able to take seriously. With the dems and our enemies saying the same anti-America propaganda, it is hard to tell them apart. It is amazing, that throughout the history of this great country, the left almost always sided with the bad guys and thinks we are the problem. The dems look to countries like Russia,Cuba, and Venezuela as their vision of what our country should be run like.

I think we can ask the same thing of extreme conservatives. It goes both ways. There are always extreme people on either side. It may be passing the buck, but you have radicals too, not just us. It would only stand to reason that if you weren't so close minded about your own party affiliations, you would recognize that your party has some radicals too and your question would be addressed to BOTH parties.
There is nothing I can do about radicals. Just like there is nothing I can do about your views. Like anyone would listen to me.

The Democrat party is nothing what it used to be. It's been taken over by Liberals who disguise themselves as Democrats to get elected. I think they are so power hungry they will support each other no matter how radical some of their members are.

I'm not one of those 0 negative bleeding heart left wing commies but I dare say you will need to look long and hard to find one that will rebuke the others. Buzzards of a feather, flock together. (or is that birds?)

Who do you have in mind?
I think there is a lot of rebuking. The media (the right is always harping about their liberal bias) did a pretty good job of jumping all over Joe Biden for his "clean and articulate" comment. I'm not sure who you think needs rebuking who hasn't been rebuked.
