Well, you should start by auditioning people with "musical abilities" such as playing an instrument or singing. If you want your friends, then no audition.
Start writing the songs or have someone else do it. Start practicing. Come up with a name for your band. Play in a park or something (like a street musician) for some cash. Try to get a gig at a local club or something.
Best of luck!!!

well, first of all check it up if any of your friends have musical interests. Suppose one day u end up making a band, and u didn't ask ur frnds first, u r in trouble...! So, ask them if they are any good. Before writing a song, or composing music, decide what kind of music u want to do- rhythm and blues, pop rock, punk, whatever. u need a guitarist, a person on the piano, a percussionist- playing drums mostly, a vocalist of course, and if u have someone who plays the flute or saxophone or something like that, probaably a cello, whatever, something different and off-beat, u can include that person too. it sounds classy- when such an instrument is played in the background, it gives an impression of melody in the song. A violinist is good too. If you havent' got anybody on the band yet, it is a good idea to advertise in the school newspaper or announce in the school assembly or put up a request on the school website or something like that. Plan the band properly, let there not be chaos. Auditions are if peopel interested turn up in large numbers. Remember you can't have more than two people playing the guitar, probably an additional vocalist (a person who has special things like beatbox, rap, or something like that) only one drummer, only one for each instrument.

First you decided what you want to play.
Then, you either ask people if they play an instrument that you want played in your band and ask if they would like to be in your band, or you could hold an audition for certain instruments or abilities.
Next, when you have all of your band members you get to know them, that way you can find out what they like and you'll know what kind of music and lyrics to write.
Last, you work hard to write some songs, send them into a record company and hope for aproval.

First of all you got to be Proffessicianal in every area, like: music knowledge to read ,write, play by ear, compose songs, to have own Instruments much cheaper than hiring, place to practice, choose reliable, No Drugs, No Alcohol, methodiacally, trust worthy, choose gifted, talented play all the instruments, and can sing, different languages skill, and Who's much availabe to give their timeto practice, keen to take any risk. I give you this ideas because, I had this experiences. Make sure that you want to keep going, continue your Band with out breaking up. it's a big decession and lots of work to done. Make sure that you have some savings to start your own Buisness. I wish you all the best.
