Seems that neocons are blaming democrats for slashing the budget and forcing them to remain in bug infested rat infested buildings .
This is a flat out lie .
People who spread this crap need to be arrested and jailed for defamation of character .

oh, Baloney. First of all, there has been NO news of any cutting of budgets. Second, the "neocons" don't have enough of a majority to cut spending.

Bush can NOT make congress approve money for the troops. Thank the majority in congress for the rat infested buildings.

It disgusts me that Bush has cut funding to the VA. There is no excuse for it. Common sense would tell you that if you have military action in two theaters, there will be an increased need for the services the VA provides. Though I'm not a big supporter of the Democrats...I hope that they use their majority to bring the funding back up so the needs of our veterans can be addressed.
Java Jive - Bush meet with Cindy Sheehan personally at the White House. She was glowing after her meeting with Bush. It wasn't until the radical element of the anti-war movement got there hands on her did Bush begin to ignore her. I understand her pain, but believe she does the memory of her son a dis-service with her antics.

Democrats couldn't have slashed funding since they only just recently gained control of the House and Senate. They can't do too much in just a couple of months.

In Bush's eyes, the troops are his play things. rememeber that woman who went to his ranch to protest her dead son (who was a soldier)? you know what he did? carried on about his day and shut the windows. that is your president. high ho!
