Do VB.net support bluetooth communication? if yes, is there any specific driver it needs to use?

I need to do programming that requires me to send data through bluetooth wireless communication using a usb bluetooth dongle. i have thought of using C++ and VB.Net. But i was wondering whether VB.Net support bluetooth communication.

another question is C++ has the bluetooth protocol but however, is there any requirement like the dongle need to run on microsoft driver for example???

There are a few vendors that sell managed libraries for .NET to interface with Bluetooth.
