Nope. No wining, and no dining and dancing in Iraq, either. We're there for the serious business of fighting a counterinsurgency on behalf of the democratically elected Iraqi government and the people of Iraq, in order to bring peace and stability to that area of the world.
Also, it is debatable that it is a civil war at all, though I'd consider such subtleties and nuances far above your ability to comprehend.
And let us not dismiss lightly what has been accomplished there. We overthrew a murderous dictator and his government, liberating millions from tyranny.
They've constructed a constitution and voted in a government, their first democratically elected government since before Saddam's coup.
Their infrastructure is better than at any time under Saddam.
They have more clean water, electricity, schools, hospitals, etc. than they've ever had.
They do not live in fear of Saddam's torture chambers, rape rooms or mass murders.
They have rights and freedoms they've never had before.
They have also put their lives on the line to fight against the insurgents, both as members of the government, of the military, of the police, even of the universities.
I'm tired of people like you, who are blind to truth, who are thoughtless tools.

Nobody is winning in Iraq, not the US Military nor the Iraqi people. We have an unwinnable situation. The powers that be apparently learned nothing during the Viet Nam years. Now is just the time period until Bush learns he made a huge mistake in starting this to begin with. This has lasted longer than ww2 and he is still insistant that it is the right thing to do. Perhaps if he had combat experience he would not be so quick to want to wage war.

Nope more like the Democrats are losing Iraq. Any good news reported from thje country becomes a target of homicide bombers. Bustling marketplaces are a favorite target because terrorist don't wish us to see these in the media. The Democrats exploit the bad. They like the bad. Their thirst for power knows little bounds and there far left leadership sicken me. It is leaders like them that allowed Hitler to rise to power even though the Nazi party was only 4% of the population.

JAVA JIVE get off the drugs again.. it was a war.. now its a conflict.. FLIP FLOP
Well.. the truth is it was an illegal invasion aimed at stealing a nations oil; under the guise of helping them out.. tsk tsk.. yeah great help.. you dropped the equivalent of 20 Hiroshimas in the first week!!! destroyed schools, universities and EVERY single public building.. including public records (which was sabotaged and caputured on film) but the oil ministry was the only ministry building to surive!! please explain???
Republicans through this war have shown their true colors and their supporters like Java jive prove their utter ignroance and selfishness.. I just hope when Java jive is reincarnated in her next life that she is born an Arab in a war torn country.. then you'll know what it feels like ot be completely violated by a brute!!
The only bit of credance i gicve republicans is that I dont agree with fundamentalism either.. but I wouldn't go around concocting a pack of lies then murdering 100,000 civilians to fix it .. that's a crime.. and YOU java jive are a crinminal for voting Republican

The republican Party is not at war in iraq. The United States armed forces are at war based on a bipartisan authorization of the House and Senate.

This war was so mismanaged it is an outrage.
Billions of dollars have gone missing while the GOP refuses to give the troops adequate equipment and medical care.
It is a disgrace.
The GOP has pushed our military to the breaking point and bankrupted our government, all for a lost cause that had nothing to do with the terrorists who attacked on 9/11.

WINING in Iraq? Did you mean winning? You should have paid more attention to spelling and grammar (not to mentions history and civics) in school instead of letting all the neo-commie red diaper doper babies brainwash you with their Evil America propaganda.
