Of course there are! Millionaires are not that hard to come by with a large proportion of people owning there own homes and house prices being so high.
I know quite a few millionaires but I am in business so you will get that.
I am on the road to becoming a millionairess - mainly through opening up a chain of Deli bars. I started with nothing but a high school education, I dropped out of college, floated from job to job to know becomming a successful business women.
I guess we could be classed as millionaires if you count what the business is worth. I wouldn't regard myself as a millionaire though - it's just a word and I don't like it really; it's almost like a status symbol - Like "I've arrived". I only ever wanted to be sucessful in business and I guess being a millionaire is a bi-product of this.
I've been very lucky - but it's just through hard work and dedication. People told me i'd never amount to anything and look whos laughing now. I am also keen to invest in employees and capitalising on young entrepreneurs so the next generation can be as sucessful as I have been fortunate to be.
If I get a thumbs down then I am sure it is through jealousy. One thing that I just don't get in life is how other people cannot celebrate anothers sucess. I think people just get p*ssed off because they are too lazy to take the risk and contribute to the economy and try to enrich their own and other peoples lives.

Not me personally unfortunately, but I do know a millionaire. He's made his money from property as did Tattinger Rose' uncle. Did milk rounds and stuff as a kid bought his first house quite young and has gone on from there. Lets lots of different types of property from standard houses and flats to luxurious apartments. Worth about 50 mill now.....

It depends which country you're in. I'm a Brit, but I live in Thailand where about £15,000 will get you 1million Thai baht. In Vietnam and Laos, you can be a millionaire on even less!

My uncle is and I am trying to copy his example
He just invests his money into propertys, he even used to get loans to put the deposits down on houses then rents them out, but he only rents and charges enough to cover the mortgages so he always have people in the properties...........
I bought someones council house for them but it had to stay in there name for 3 years to get the disount so I set up paperwork at the solicitors stating it was to handed to me after 3 years
I had my reservations, I thought I would have problems in 3 years time getting the house back but I didnt......I let them live there now rent free they just keep up the house hold bills....
I bought it for 22,800.00 and it is now worth 200,00.00 so it was good investment and that is in a six year turn around........
im looking forward to more deals like this lol
