I am the worst driver in existense and because of that do not have my liscense. I have a dilemma though. I have a 10 week old baby who needs to get to doctors appointments. My family is very unreliable so I cant count on them to get to the doctor. Does anyone know of any transportation services that will get me there. I refuse to take her on public transportation for obvious reasons. I live in the Philadelphia area. Any help would be appreciated

Well if you have no other way to get there besides public transportation then I guess you will have to deal with your issues of public transportation. If you are worried about your daughter getting sick from riding a bus or whatever then you should also be worried about her getting sick in a store or at the doctors. It's all the same. Do you get your insurance through the state? If so then some insurance company's will arrange for you to get there. I know that unison does that. If you have different insurance then call and see if they will provide transportation for you. I don't know the names of insurances that will do that but you can try.

I hate to say this but if you have no friends of reliable family to get you and your baby to her appointments then you're going to have to resort to public transportation. What obvious reason you don't want to use public transportation? You didn't bother to tell us that to give us a full understanding.

well if you don't want to use public transportation then it sounds like you need to either find someone who is reliable or walk. i really don't know what's wrong with taxi's but if you prefer not to take them that's your choice. maybe you could find a private transportation service that would make you feel more comfortable.

ask people you know or talk with your doctor about another parent who might possibly help you out in your area there may be another stay at home mom near you who would be glad to take you if you pitch in gas fair and hey you might make a new friend in the process

i suggest you get a drivers licenece so this does not happen again. she will need to got to the doctor alot in her first year and you will need a way to get her there. for now you should take a cab if you have to. call the cab to return to the place in an hour. its the only way to get her there now.

it sounds like you have no choice to learn how to drive better and get a license.or make your baby's appointments on the day where your family members can take you for sure.
