I've had this great idea. I live in a large caravan. What i'm doing is building a wall about five feet high around the roof. Then I'm going to fill it will water. I have my own cheaply made swimming pool! How do I get the cement to stick to the metal roof on the first layer of bricks though. I've been having trouble all morning

What a great idea!

I think if you drilled and screwed some 1/2" threaded rod up from the inside ceiling as anchors, you could tie some rebar to them and mesh the floor from there... should stay ok.

A couple of things you should be aware of (but I'm sure you have thought of them before now)...

Make sure the air in the tires is right up to proper levels.

Leave a little space on one end for a small deck and ladder. Always remove the ladder when not occupied for safety and insurance purposes.

When moving this thing, take the bumps and corners slowly or you'll splash out the water and any people swimming at the time.

Never park near an apartment. The temptation for kids to jump off balconies will be too much to deal with... especially if they miss the pool.

Make sure you connect a hose to the drain you drilled through the roof or the inside will fill up if someone pulls the plug.

Have fun!

Did you ever consider the weight issue? I don't know of any roof that would hold that much weight of water.
