Because in a country like India, there is a strong feeling that marriage is sacred and it shouldn't be divorsed forever. So this may be the reason for why the movie Vivah was strong even after running 100 days!!!

stupid , its a hit movie but it not strong even 100days, it was house full only 2 weeks and its collection of 100 days and collection of guru in 2 weeks is same, today guru strong in 5th week, and in mumbai 5th week collection is 65% do you know , and sallam-e-ishq collection in 2nd week is only 40%, so change your question and write'guru' is going strong in 5th week.

bcz it is very near to real life. ppl watch movies which give them relief and which is very much provided by this film....
