Tell your husband you are sorry you aren't as strong as you thought you can be and you can't wait for him . Tell him how much he means or meant to you and you want to be honest and let him know now that you have fallen in love with someone else . You should always be a friend to him and write and visit . So make sure this guy your with now understands what you want . Ask him would he mind if you keep in contact , you at least owe him that . GOOD LUCK !!!!

You may have to go through some technicalities, but a petition to the court for divorce would probably breeze through, especially if the sentence is long. You will fare better if you contact a Lawyer about this; In all the cases I am aware of, the Petition for divorce is close to being a technicality. Has your incarcerated husband agreed to divorce? If not, you have some issues to deal with, but not insurmountable ones.

Just get a lawyer and file for a divorce, they can serve him in prison.
