I've told this to my friends and family before but they just said that it makes me special,that I can be a shaman(shaman means a person who can talk to spirits or see them)

wow,,,,,,,, great question,,,,now I don't feel so alone, I thought your question would go unanswered, but it hasn't and I also see things, It's true you can turn it off, but when you do you will miss it, not only do you turn this off, you go numb emotionally, and spirtiually,,, it's like a circle,,,it's not simple, but you are not alone, I see alot of things also, they leave me alone though because I tell them to go, you can do that also. Get some olive oil, and pray over it, and get some sleep.

Finnally,someone else.i'm the same way,eccept i don't really tell anyone.i'm 14, when i was about twelve, i told this muslim guy i knew,but he said that because i'm becoming a teenager, that the spirits were testing me to see what side i would be on,devil or god.I don't really think that's the case. I can also sense what people will look like before i meet them,with just a person't personality given.i can walk in a roo and know if there are any bad spirits in the room or house.i can sense,or i guess you can say,i kinda see things before they happen.
the trouble is,i don't what to do with them,i want to be able to lift things up and stuff,but i think that my "powers" have a limit.

hey me too. Although I feel like sometimes it is a curse and not a gift. Before my brother died I had a vision that he wasn't going to come home that night. I told him I was worried. Sure enough, he passed away in a motorcycle accident that same day which happened to be our mom's birthday. I also see spirits a lot and try to ignore it. I just surround myself with light and meditate on positive feelings. Just ask for protection from the arch angels and do not fear it. Eventually, u will adapt easier to it. Good luck. Peace 4 u+

I have had experiences like that as well for a good part of my life and some of them have been unpleasant and scary at times others have been rewarding. I have even had a reacuring dream since I was a teen. It only varies in detail from time to time, but it stays pretty much the same. It is about our planet becoming unsafe to live on the surface and it becoming a wasteland.

You're going to get some abusive answers here - just ignore them.
I don't know about special -- I certainly don't consider myself special just because I can see 'things' and sense things. I amthe same way and it actually bothers me to the point that I have moved house because one can only take it for so long.
You happen to be very sensitive. You probably go to highs and lows, maybe even depressive at times? You are pretty good with people and reading them and their feelings. If you're not, trust me, you will later.
It's this sensitivity that makes you susceptible to things that are not 'normal.'
You'll be alright - they don't do any harm. The only thing harm it brings is when you are not ready for it and sometimes you dont' understand it.
Remember that you can close the door that you opened for yourself anytime by telling 'it' that they are not welcome.

Sounds to me like you have some psychic powers on you.
Use your ability for good rather than evil and don't go around boasting about it, or charging people to show it off.

Well what exactly is your question?? So if you can see things others can't....you should certainly pray for guidance if you are going to entertain the gift. If you don't wish to use it...ask God to remove it from your life. If it frightens you let him know.

I see things to, like demons and angels. Since I believe ghosts are demons, and that demons take any form they want to, that would mean that I SEE DEAD PEOPLE. But seriously, I see more demons then angels, so its not fun sometimes.
