No way! Everywhere in London is expensive, the more central the more expensive, and you don't get much more central than Soho!
If you want to live in London and not pay too much, you need to move outwards as much as possible (i.e. Zone 2/3 border at least). Not East London, it's a hole, but anywhere North, South or West is fine.

Not in Soho. The number of bars around are too attractive and drive the prices.
Here is a search for anything below £100/week centred around Soho. Such properties exist, but they're all flatshares

Soho has long since been Bohemia Central. For the last 5 years its been Hoxton/Shoreditch. But as those areas are now getting overpriced its now Dalston/Hackney. You might be able to afford something there. Start your search around Kingsland Road.

Not unless you are a whore: or can get a sublet of a Housing Association flat...which is a vague possibilty: I had a friend who sublet a flat up in Goodge St for some years.

If you are willing to share with other people, perhaps double up on your room then you could get something cheap.
Have a look on www.gumtree.com which is a london website.
