That was awesome! I wondered how many people noticed that. I think he's way cool, and such a monumental figure in the superhero world, it was great that they put him in. Stan Lee rocks!

because he is the creator of comics basically, at least Marvel and Heros is generally based on comic book heros. Maybe sort of a tribute to the man himself.

Um, because Heroes is about HEROES, and he does Spiderman (a superHERO), etc.!!!

It was a cameo. He was the founder of Marvel comics and they were paying him a little homage.
Did you ask this question when he was in Spiderman...the Hulk...?
