When I write an email and decide not to send it right away, I hit close and it saves it as a draft. That part is great. What is not so great is that the next time I log in, it automatically sends that draft! YIKES! That's not what I wanted!

I looked at options and can't seem to find a setting to do the following: save a draft without sending it until I tell it to. The only thing I did that helped was delete the "to" field so it couldn't send it, but if I forget, I can send a draft accidentally.

Anyone know how to make drafts just sit there and not send? Thanks!!!

It was not an error message. It sent a draft that wasn't ready to be sent.

In Outlook Express go to "Tools" then "Options", under the General tab there is an option that says "Send and Receive at startup" you need to uncheck that box, so that when you open the program it doesn't try sending whats in your draft folder.
Good luck

Most of the Outlook Express error messages are due to problems with the internet connection, not the software on your computer.
