Almost every government in the entire world was concerned about the possibility of WMDs in Iraq. Check your history facts. Only the US who was not making big bucks from illegal trade with Saddam finally had the resources and courage to call the butcher of Baghdad to account for thumbing his nose 17 times at the liberal's beloved UN and its impotent resolutions. Would you have preferred to wait, unsure, only to find out to the tune of thousands more US or Israeli deaths, that it was so!

He totally lied. I just wish that people would stop acting so shocked about it. I'm sure he's not the first politician to lie, or over-exaggerate about something, hell anything, to push his or her agenda. That's what they do, people. He should get impeached for lying about WMD's the same as Clinton got impeached for lying about a b l o w job. Because honestly, which is more or less of a lie, a man's extra-marital affair, or the deaths of countless thousands based on someone's hidden agenda to go to war? Hey! He lied.. clearly.. and should be found guilty of crimes against humanity.. along with Rumsfeld, pearle, wolfowitz and all the other neo-cons.. they made this whole thing up so they could justify robbing Iraq of its oil.. worst of all though is the amount of money they stole from AMERICAN CITIZENS for no bid re-contruction contracts that never even happened..

I think he got a little bit of possible information, and he went with the info he wanted to hear without bothering to check it out. It was a good excuse. After all, Saddam threatened to kill his daddy! And as to Sadda Da Dam's response, when Clinton lied, no one died.
