I wouldn't suggest you keep an octopus in a home aquarium. They are quite delicate and are in fact escape artists like you wouldn't believe. They must have a nearly sealed tank or they will crawl out and once out you can't easily pick them up to put them back in the tank or you will probably get bitten. Think it over carefully and I think you will find that it's really not a good idea at all.

#1. Octopus are really really hard to keep alive in a home aquarium!

they're very sensitive to water parameters, so you need to be an expert marine keeper. they also don't thrive well in home aquariums and will probably only live for about 1 year.

if you are still interested in one, i'd suggest searching out your nearest marine specialist and i'm sure they'd be able to source you one. best way to find them is via a local directory, your local fish store, or in the adverts in a fish magazine. (depends what country you're in). be prepared to shell out a fair amount of money!

these is a place if you are in ontario that sell those and other net kinds of fish and marine water critters and it big als they do have a online web site too but i dont think they will show you pictures you have to go there but i have seen them
