No. It's an old news issue that is decided on a state level. Further, if McCain or Giulianni are the GOP nominee, they both support gay rights. McCain also opposed the gay marriage amendment.

Three states have civil unions and they haven't fallen off the map I think that people will eventually realize that this is a non issue that doesn't affect their lives and that it will have less focus than it did in the past.
