i used my hard disk for 2 year and the it stop and ask to be format so can i know what is the problom?

I'm sorry but I think it's a virus.
formatting mean erasing all data. so you either format it, or try going to an expert.

Looks like your MBR got damaged for that hard drive, so that your information is still on the hard drive, but the MBR ( and the MBR is what points to where your info is stored on the drive ) is corrupted or damaged. If thats your spare hard drive try giong to command prompt and typing /fixmbr (drive letter assigned to drive). If that doesn't work you might be out of luck, see if it works in safe mode, if no good, time to format :)

it may be the corruption of OS. also u check for scandisk including surface scan to find weather any bad sectors on hard disk. if u found more than 5 bad sectors at the starting of HDD , then u must replace it.

corrupt sectors on the drive...if it will boot in safe mode you can try scandisk to repair...if it is repairable get a new one fast and create a back up copy of all your valuable information...the old drive will not last long once sectors start going bad.
