the last thing i read was that Cartoon Network or maybe it was WB felt that it cost too much to produce, so they decided to not renew it for another season. Also, DC was becoming a little bit territorial over they're characters.

It had been on for more than two seasons. It was called "Justice League" in the first two seasons and then became JLU for the last three.

The people behind the show had been doing it for far longer than just those 2 seasons of that particular show. It's amazing it lasted as long as it did.

Because Cartoon Network felt that it cost too much money and would rather regurgitate dumb anime at us than make original programming... :(
