I got a new laptop for Christmas and I am concerned that maybe the keys will get a little loose or break if you type to fast or aggresively?

anybody know how fragile they are ?
does one year warrenty usually cover these problems?
can you fix them easily if you do break one?

IS IT A GOOD IDEA TO GET A CAN OF THAT AIR AND BLOW YOUR KEYBOARD WITH IT EVERY WEEK?

I wouldnt worry...keyboards are pretty tough and can handle some abuse.

I've had my laptop for over 2 years and I type on it every single day, it gets a lot of use. The only problem I've had so far with the keyboard is the left arrow key popped off ... I clicked it back into place quite easily and it's been fine since. I guess they are durable. My cat jumps up on my laptop too, and it's done no harm.

I would assum the warranty covers this, but you should check with the supplier if you are concerned.

The keyboard on a laptop is made for fast/aggressive typing anyway, it's very flat and less likely to have any broken keys. I don't suggest you throw it around or anything though.

Well, keyboards are designed to withstand a normal amount of use for a fair amount of time, and laptop keyboards have to be much more durable, as they are much harder to fix/replace.

However, if you intend to use it very heavily and are worried that it might get broken, then fork out for a decent USB keyboard.

The way I type, they would have to be strong, as I'm quite heavy handed. Trouble is getting under the keys, my fullstop keeps sticking and I don't know if there's something under there, I don't want to go pulling keys up to go and break it. Touch wood nothings gone really wrong with mine.
